Finding Time To Build Muscles

building muscle

Time it’s that ever elusive thing that seems to always be escaping us.  We don’t have time, is something that we often throw out there.  In truth we have time.  In fact that is one thing that everyone is on the same playing field with, because we all have 24 hours in day and 7 days in a week.  So before you think you don’t have time to build muscle, read on.

First off it’s a misconception that you have to live in the gym to gain muscle.  That simply is not the case, in fact, it’s more so what you fuel your body with that is going to put on those muscles than your time in the gym.  My daily routine consists of about 45 minutes in the gym.  That’s all it takes.  If you are working hard, and not wasting time strutting around the gym it doesn’t have to take you any longer than 45 minutes.  Think about this.  You can’t even watch one episode of stranger thingss in 45 minutes.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love stranger things, but what I am trying to say is, if you are saying you don’t have time to get to the gym but are catching up on your favorite shows, then you do have time.

Plan appropriately when going to the gym, find a gym that is close to your house, or close to your work if you go just before or just after work, this will avoid additional wasted time with driving across town to a gym. Also if you are going before or after work, then get a gym bag and pack it the day before so you can grab it on your way out the door.  If you are working out from home, lay our your workout clothes the night before.  Set yourself up for success!  You’ve got this.
