You may remember the very specific day and time it happened. You were sharing your dreams or your goals with someone and when you got done they just pointed out all the reasons why it was impossible and you should probably do something else.
Then that sinking feeling came over you, the one where you questioned everything you felt and whether you should throw in the towel. When you reach this point you have to options. You can listen and give up, or use it as fuel to prove them wrong, and prove yourself right.
Nowhere is this more true than if you are starting your fitness journey. You may have started before and stopped, you may have un-supporting family members or friends who don’t understand and that’s okay, you are doing this for yourself not for them.
So regardless of where you are, where you’ve been, or what anyone has told you, you can do this. Set your mind to it and don’t take crap from anyone, if someone doubts, smile and move on and show them how wrong they are with your action.
